Euro Tattoo Convention 2015

Une convention de tatouage comme EURO TATTOO CONVENTION est tout d’abord un lieu de rencontre, au cœur de l’Europe, donc ouverte à tous….
Les Grands noms du tatouage et tatoueurs moins connus s’y côtoient, comme dans toutes les grandes villes européennes : Berlin, Londres, Madrid, Paris, Milan, Rome, Amsterdam…

Toutes sortes de publics seront présents, tatoués ou futurs tatoués en quête d’artistes, tatoués venus exhiber leurs peaux, pour le simple plaisir d’arborer leurs fresques, ou pour porter les couleurs de leurs tatoueurs dans le cadre d’un concours de tatouages, futurs tatoués venus découvrir un « monde », novices curieux qui s’y déplacent entre amis ou en famille, observateurs minutieux capables d’observer un tatoueur au travail pendant plusieurs heures et feuilletant consciencieusement les books des artistes présents…

Des dizaines les stands sont installés le temps d’un week-end, VENDREDI 25/09/2015 de 14H00 à 23H00, SAMEDI 26/09/2015 de 10H00 à 23H00 et DIMANCHE 27/09/2015 de 10H00 à 20H00.
EURO TATTOO CONVENTION au CENTR’EXPO de MOUSCRON, les mains feuillètent books et catalogues de flashs, certains se rafraîchissent près du bar, d’autres visitent les stands venus vendre vêtements, bijoux, piercings, et autres objets… sous le bruit incessant des dermographes : Quelques-uns ont choisi d’en profiter pour passer sous les aiguilles…en ayant pris soin de prendre RDV sur ce site avec leurs tatoueurs/tatoueuses préféré(es).

Les concours récompensent les pièces encrées pendant le week-end, ou d’autres œuvres tatouées moins fraîchement par des tatoueurs présents sur la convention…
C’est l’occasion rêvée de faire profiter au public des signatures les plus éloignées géographiquement… même s’il est parfois difficile de décrocher, sur le week-end, un rendez-vous avec les plus renommées d’entre elles ! De nombreuses animations viendront ponctuer cette rencontre avec le taoutage, performeuses et performers, spectacles dédiés, et présentation en 3 langues français, anglais et néerlandais.

A celebration of art and ink. Dutdutan is currently the nation’s biggest and grandest annual tattoo exposition, presented by Tribal Gear Philippines. A venue for the finest of skin arts, this is the one event where acclaimed tattoo artists, enthusiasts, supporters, and even curious first-timers gather to marvel, get inked, compete, and experience skin artistry at its best.

Dutdutan is also the one place and time when age and social status cross boundaries to take pleasure in a very personal and intimate brand of self expression. Taking on a different level each year, Dutdutan brings in more and more tattoo artists from all over the country and the world. Participants from other countries have taken interest in this extraordinary event and would want to experience tattoo ‘pinoy’ style.

Highlights of Dutdutan include competitions of creativity and innovation among the best tattoo artists in the local scene. Premier inkers battle for prestige in various categories, exhibiting ingenuity and artistic mastery in the field of skin art. ‘Tattoo of the Day’ remains the most coveted award as artists from this category create their entries on the day itself, giving everyone a chance to actually witness a master at work, and how art pieces are created on skin. The expo also displays exceptional pieces done by sought-after tattoo artists, and the various styles and designs one may choose to get inked – all artistically and skillfully done on epidermal canvas. Apart from actual tattooing, booths are also installed to hold anything and everything about tattoo, from simple souvenirs to the more complicated tattoo paraphernalia made available to those who need it, and want to further explore the art.

Essentially, Dutdutan as an event initiates the evolution and elevation of tattoo as an art form – one of the many ways of self-expression that has long been regarded as taboo, as it always appealed to the rebel crowd and the unconventional. But now, tattoos are considered to be a mainstream art, as more celebrities started having them. Famous personalities, not just the obscure, were not only getting tattoos, but were displaying them proudly. Suddenly, the status of body art had dramatically improved and its stigma was fading fast. During this period of evolution, scores of true body art supporters have come out and showed pride in their tattoos. And now we have a community of strong and loyal tattoo enthusiasts that will see body art through its evolution at every stage. This is exactly what makes each Dutdutan event one hell of a joyride.

Tattoo & Ink Model - Shelly d'Inferno

Shelly d'Inferno is a tattooed model, performer, fashion designer, make-up artist and photographer. She has been involved in the alternative scene since many years back, and has graced the covers of several international magazines such as Bizarre Magazine, Skin Deep, Tattoo Italia and Advanced Photographer.

During early teens she experimented with photoshooting and discovered her passion for modeling, photography and styling, which she took on as a career after moving to London in 2009.

In 2013 Shelly was part of founding a new fire-group called Pyrohex and took on yet another profession as a fire performer. She practices the arts of poi, fire eating/breathing/body burning, double staffs, sai blades and angle grinding. Pyrohex have already performed at UK and France's biggest metal festivals Download and Hellfest, along with many other events and venues.

International London Tattoo Convention 2015

Welcome to the greatest, most respected and prestigious tattoo convention in the world, at Tobacco Dock, London 25-26-27th Sept 2015.

Over 400 of the worlds finest, most famous, truly unique tattoo artists, including TV Stars such as Ami James (Miami Ink & NY Ink),Tim Hendricks (NY Ink) and Phil Kyle (London Ink), will be jetting in for the spectacular 11th London International Tattoo Convention, the finest tattoo show on the planet.  When The London Tattoo Convention was first established a decade ago, it was estimated that one in eight of all British adults had been inked. In 2010 it was estimated this had increased to a fifth of all adults having at least one tattoo, and now it is estimated that at least a third of all British adults have gone under the needle. It comes as no surprise, therefore, to hear that attendance figures have risen from 3500 at the original venue, The Old Truman Brewery ten years ago, to well over 20,000 at the vast, picturesque setting of Tobacco Dock last year.

Each year, the global Tattoo Life publication organisers have strived to outdo the previous event’s tumultuous success, and 2015’s extravaganza promises the richest smorgasbord of essential live musical acts, spectacular alternative entertainers and inspirational exhibitions ever.
