Festival Tatouage de Chaudes-Aigues 2014

Elle se fait presque discrète, posée à 750 m d’altitude dans la vallée du Remontalou, cette petite ville qui accueillera les 4, 5 et 6 juillet 2014 le Cantal In’k the Skin, deuxième édition! Et pourtant, seule station thermale du Cantal, Chaudes-Aigues est connue depuis l’Antiquité pour ses sources d’eau chaude, dont celle du Par que l’on retrouve sur les affiches collectors de ce premier festival de tatouage. Et comme le rappelle le musée Géothermia, Chaudes-Aigues possède aussi le plus ancien système de chauffage central du monde ! Pas mal, non pour Chaudes-Aigues, berceau du premier Cantal In’k The Skin? C’est Stéphane Chaudesaigues, tatoueur mondialement reconnu, qui est à l’origine de ce festival de tatouage organisé à Chaudes-Aigues. Il y a évidemment un lien entre la famille Chaudesaigues et Chaudes-Aigues. Et depuis longtemps, puisque des Chaudesaigues étaient déjà installés dans le canton au 17e siècle. C’est pour renouer définitivement ce lien que Stéphane Chaudesaigues a décidé d’organiser le Cantal In’k the Skin à Chaudes-Aigues, qu’il considère aujourd’hui comme « son village », plutôt que dans une grande ville. Le Cantal in’k the Skin c’est un pays, le Cantal, on l’a dans la peau. « Lou Cantal labain dine la pel ». Le deuxième Festival du tatouage organisé par la famille Chaudesaigues à…Chaudes-Aigues, en Auvergne et dans le Cantal.

Hey My name is Megan Renee, I just turned 21 (yay!) and I was born and raised in southern California. I have always wanted to model ever since I can remember, but it didn’t happen right away. I was really shy growing up. I started get tattooed as soon as I turned 18, and all my tattoos were done by Jason “Jdogg” Kirkpatrick of Lefty’s Tattoo in Orange, CA. I have always had a true passion for art. I most likely be that old lady in the tattoo shop drinking champagne getting tattoos haha. Anyways.. about two years ago my old roommate’s then girlfriend (the amazing Jenna Bela, holla!) asked if she could shoot me cause she liked my look and my tattoos. As soon as I got the photos I was like oh shit! I loved them and I wanted to see where I could go with it. With those photos we took I actually submitted and I got on 13 billboards for a tattoo body art expo in Orange County and Los Angeles. I was pretty shocked and wasn’t expecting that to happen.. but I went with it and I have now fallen in love with modeling and shooting different cool designs Some of my favorite models are Masumi Max, Jesse Pagz, Lady Diamond, and Sabina Kelly. My top photographers are Isaac Madera, Andy Wanderlust, Ray Gutierrez and Corwin Prescott. I have been on magazine covers such as Skin Art, Tattoo Magazine, Deadbeat, Bella Morte, Tetovani Tattoo Art Magazin, Tätowier Magazin and more. Welcome to our 4th Ink for Heroes tattoo convention 21st and 22nd June 2014.

A meeting and exhibition for tattoo artists and enthusiasts as well as anyone who would like to see the world of tattooing up close. With some of the finest tattoo artists, body modification / piercers from around the world coming together to create one of the best tattoo convention of the year, you’ll find live tattooing, amazing traders and vendors, selling their wares.

Awesome live bands and entertainers there’s something for everybody. This year we have decided to support the Yorkshire air ambulance charity and the salvation army.

João Bosco was born in the city of Manaus, Amazon , north Brazil. From a very young age he was inspired to become a comic illustrator. During his teens he played Bass guitar in several local Heavy Metal bands. In his early twenties he began university studying accountancy, and continued to play with his bands on the side. It was through the music and working with musicians that he got introduced to the local tattoo scene, where all of the musicians were regular customers.

Pentru această comunitate, pentru cei plini de prejudecăţi şi pentru marea majoritate, cei care nu au suficiente informaţii despre acest curent artistic, Transilvania Tattoo Expo reprezintă un liant, o platformă culturală care facilitează exprimarea liberă în cele mai originale moduri. Proiectul a început in anul 2009. Atunci era prima convenție internațională de tatuaje din România. Astăzi a ajuns cea mai mare din Europa de Est atragând anual nume mari de pe scena tatto din întreaga lume. Fie că vorbim de tatuaje tradiționale maori, realiste, stil japonez, tribale, alb-negru, color, mari sau de mici dimensiuni, conveția de la Sibiu atrage anual participanți din 19 țări. Proiectul primește cea mai mare recunoaștere în anul 2012, când pentru a doua oară consecutiv este inclus pe Agenda Culturală a Municipiului Sibiu, confirmând încrederea acordată de autoritățile locale și poziționarea artei tattoo alături de alte manifestări artistice consacrate: muzică, film, dans, teatru, etc.
