Tattoos Are Not Illegal

Taenam Kim, known as Sunrat, owns a tattoo studio, works as a tattoo artist and is the director of a tattoo convention in South Korea, where being a tattoo artist is illegal. He is starting a cultural revolution, exposing the Korean public to tattoo culture and trying to change public opinion. We meet tattoo apprentices working in South Korea and hear their hopes for a positive future, where tattoos are seen as art as opposed to crime.
