As one of the country’s premier tattoo conventions showcasing the
latest trends and techniques within the tattoo world, the Rhode Island
Tattoo Expo features an astonishing assortment of industry leading and
local tattoo artists, studios, vendors, and some 10,000 attendees. The
expo enjoys a preeminent reputation as an educational forum and overall
entertaining spectacle on many levels including tattooing, body
piercing, body modification, permanent cosmetics, and laser removal — as
well as the newest trends in art, music, fashion and more. Packed into
the Rhode Island Convention Center amidst the atmosphere of historic
downtown Providence, this all encompassing and cutting edge event is
within walking distance to area restaurants, hotels, shops, art
galleries, night clubs, museums and more. As an annual, all inclusive
and continuing to expand event, the Rhode Island Tattoo Expo has become
an alternative cultural phenomenon and is eagerly anticipated by
thousands across not only New England, but throughout the rest of the
country as well.
This year’s event includes over 300 Industry
Renowned and Celebrity Tattoo Artists (including Ink Master Season 2
winner Steve Tefft and Ink Master Season 2 Guest Judge Forrest Cavacco),
Live Tattooing & Piercing, a Fine Art Gallery, Custom & Classic
Hot Rods and Choppers, Live Music & Entertainment, Tattoo Cinema,
Art Fusion, Contests & Awards, the Miss Rhode Island Tattoo Pageant,
a Kids Area, Unique Vendors, Special Guests and much, much more!
Expo
hours are from 5pm to 11pm on Friday, 12noon to 11pm on Saturday and
12noon to 6pm on Sunday. Individual tickets as well as three day weekend
passes can be purchased either in advance via Eventbrite or at the
Rhode Island Convention Center box office at any time throughout the
duration of the event. Single Day Admission is $25.00 per day, per
person while Weekend Passes are $50.00 per person for all three days.
