36 Days of Type es una iniciativa de que invita a creativos de todo el mundo, durante 36 días continuos a hacer , una letra o número del alfabeto y compartirlo en instagram con el #36daysoftype, recopilando así miles de interpretaciones de un mismo signo en un amplio espectro de herramientas, medios y técnicas.

Esta edición  corrio entre el 7 de Abril al 12 de Mayo de 2015.

 

Aqunque inicialmente empece experimentando diferentes estilos de lettering para hacer los caracteres ilustrados, a lo largo del reto empece a desarrollar letras ilustradas inspirado por el tatuaje tradicional. Al finalizar los 36 días decidí completar la serie y reemplazar algunos de los caracteres previos.

36 Days of Type is a project that invites creatives from all over the world, to make during 36 continuous days, a letter or number of teh alphabet and share it on instagram with the hashtag #36daysoftype, compiling thousands of interpretations of the same languaje sign through a d¡wide spectrum of tools, mediums and techniques.

This edition took place between  April 7 to May 12, 2015.

 

Allthough initially I started experimenting with different letterign styles to make illustrated characters, at some point during the excercise I found myself doing this illustrated letters inspired in traditional tattoo imagery. By the end of the 36 days I finally decided to complete the set and replace some previous characters.
