Capilli Tupou specialises in old school traditional style tattooing. As a
New Zealander of Maori and American Samoan heritage, Capilli brings his
own unique Polynesian slant to the style. Seeking a career change where
he could use his creative abilities, Capilli began tattooing in 2008
and joined the Sacred crew as a resident artist in July 2012. Although
he’s a relative new comer to the industry, Capilli’s work has been
admired both here and abroad. Born and raised in South Auckland, Capilli
now resides in Grey Lynn with his wife and their young son.
